Grass-Fed

We raise our Angus cattle on pasture where they are free to roam and forage on a variety of clovers and grasses. We utilize rotational grazing practices in order to improve pasture health and in turn, provide our cattle with healthy forages. By focusing on genetics for beef production along with low stress handling techniques and other practices, we produce the finest grass-fed Angus beef.

In nature, large herbivores would roam and form tight groups as they grazed. By rotating our cattle and dividing their grazing areas into smaller paddocks, we are able to mirror this natural activity and increase soil microbial activity, improve soil health, and even lower atmospheric carbon.

Our program works with nature, not against it and our cattle live happily and express their natural behaviors. In turn, they provide us with healthy food and help improve the environment.

Pastured Pork

Rooting up the soil. Chasing one another. Wallowing in the mud. Simply put, we just let our pigs be pigs. They are happy, and it does not take much time around them to realize they are.

Like any animal, pigs have natural behaviors that they need to be allowed to display, and that is exactly what we do. We raise our pigs in pasture areas that need renovation where they till and fertilize the soil, and then we sow into the soil that they have improved. We also raise our pigs in woodlots on our farm.

Our pigs enjoy their ability to meet their dietary needs by browsing the outdoors for roots, grubs, saplings, and grasses. We also supplement our pigs with a free-choice grain feed to ensure that they receive all of the necessary nutrients to be healthy.

All of the birds we raise are the Cornish Cross variety and offer succulent, tender, and rich tasting chicken. Our birds are raised on pasture in open bottom pens that allow them to display their natural instincts and live happy and healthy lives.

All of our chicken is processed on our farm and by hand so that they never undergo the stresses of highway transportation. This allows us to offer the finest pasture-raised chicken.
